Thanks to some wonderful people, the old
Marshal Manor building in Machias is being
given to Lifespring Chapel.
Washington County Women’s Shelter is to be a
Christ centered ministry for women in need.
Women in need will be able to reside at the
shelter at no or low cost to themselves and their
children. The shelter will assist those it is serving
with a completely restorative program. The
ministry program will include, but not be limited
too, assistance with vocational, medical/dental,
social, and financial needs of the individuals
served.

--Single women escaping domestic abuse.
--Women trying to separate from a drug
environment and personal addictions.
--Women in need of a secure place to escape
other dangers that could be harmful or life
threatening.
How can others help?
We have started to clean the building, but we
are in need of help financially as well as teams
for physical work and fund raising.
